Out of Area Athlete Submission

An “Out-of-Area Athlete” refers to any player who resides more than 100 miles away from the club’s primary training location. If a player maintains two residences, their primary residence will be determined by the high school they attend.

  • Consequences of Violation of Out-of-Area Rules: If a team is found to be in violation after the event of the out-of-area player rules, zero points will be awarded for the event. If the violation is discovered during the event and is confirmed to be in breach of the rules, the violating player may still participate and finish the event, but their team will forfeit the match on that specific flight (Club Challenge Series).
  • If you have the same out of area players that are coming back from last season, we will grandfather in those athletes, just email us who they are.
  • Please email the BVCA for any out of ordinary situations.

CLUB CHALLENGE SERIES

  • Beach clubs are permitted to have (1 player on a 3-team squad or 2 players on a 5-team squad) that live out of state and or more than 100 miles away from the club’s training area (Out of Area Athletes).
  • A club can only have a MAXIMUM of 3 actively participating ”Out of Area Athletes” on their roster per year.

INDIVIDUAL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

  • A club can only have a MAXIMUM of 4 actively participating ”Out of Area Athletes” on their roster per year.
